Round 2: Assen
Day 1: Free practice
FP1 P19: 1.42.9 FP2: P19: 1.42.4
Very hot day for this second round in Holland. (Who would have thought, 27 degrees in April. Encouraging first session where I take my bearings on this fast track which is very bumpy and physical. For the second session because of the heat of the afternoon we decide not to use new tyres to be of more benefit tomorrow where there is a slighlty cooler weather forecasts. Many axes of progress to validate tomorrow (control and motorcycle settings), and it will start in FP3 in the morning at 9:45.
Day 2: qualification
Qualifying session under a milder weather.
The session starts well with an interesting 1.41.1 in worn tyres.
However, I did not manage to fully exploit my two new rear tires on the following runs.
I realize good sector times but cannot make a perfect lap.
The good news: my times are getting shorter with the men that precede me, 5 drivers in 6 tenths right in front of me promises a great battle tomorrow.
P19: + 1'14
Sunday started well with a very good feeling and a good rhythm in used tyres during the warm up.
But I fall at high speed in the last lap. I get up with pain, but fortunately with nothing broken, however the bike was very damaged.
The whole Flembbo team did a great job so that I can be present at the race soon after.
And I thank them very sincerely.
Unfortunately, a technical problem due to the fall of the morning will prevent me from operating normally my bike during the race.
Very disappointed this Sunday because the pace was there. Congratulations to all Team members for their hard work.
The best remains to come, we keep the motivation
